EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY AT HATFIELD HOUSE

Halloween Inspired Event at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY AT HATFIELD HOUSE

I can’t think of many better locations to photograph a Halloween themed private event than the Old Palace at Hatfield House.

Hatfield House is a beautiful Jacobean house built in 1611 to adjoin The Old Palace which was built around 1485.

The event was held within The Old Palace’s grand Banquetting Hall. The hall is steeped in history, with Queen Elizabeth 1st who is most associated. It is where she spent her childhood, and where in 1558 under an oak tree in the grounds of Hatfield House she found out she was to be the Queen of England.

With this in mind the evening’s entertainment kicked off with a poignant historical recreation of Elizabeth’s time at Hatfield House.

The Old Palace

The Banqueting Hall had been decorated with a Halloween inspired cobwebs and grand candelabras. Guests enjoyed a 4-course meal whilst being entertained by Halloween inspired performances from Phantom of the Opera and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

And the evening entertainment didn’t stop there. After the meal, a classic big band got the guests into the dance floor for the rest of the evening.

A fantastic evening of entertainment in the truly beautiful and historical setting of Hatfield House.
