Actors Headshot Photography
I have first-hand experience of actors headshot photography. Going back more years than I care to remember, and newly graduated from Drama School in London, I needed a great headshot. It was daunting getting the proof sheet and trying to decide which picture would attract a great agent and have casting directors calling.
Fortunately, a lot has changed over the past few decades. Digital photography means your career isn’t hinged on one 10×8 print sent out in the post. Everything is now digital and most actors have several headshot ‘looks’ for their Spotlight profile and to send to casting agents.
Needless to say, my own experience in the industry has shaped the way I take headshots for other actors. I fully appreciate the importance of a good headshot when it comes to castings. I want you to get the most from your session with me. So, in advance of your session we will have a chat to discuss the types of castings or agents you are looking to attract.
Then, during your session, we work through a variation of looks for casting opportunities. Within a week after your shoot you will receive a link to your web gallery of proofs to select your favourite images. And your chosen images will be edited.
With many children entering into Performing Arts and Modelling industries, my headshot sessions are as much for children and teenagers, as they are for adults.
