EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY IN HERTFORDSHIRE

Private Halloween Inspired Event, Hatfield House, Hertfordshire

I can’t think of many better locations to host a Halloween themed private event than the Old Palace at Hatfield House.

Hatfield House is a beautiful Jacobean house built in 1611 to adjoin The Old Palace which was built around 1485.

The Old palace at Hatfield House is one of the foremost examples of medieval brickwork and the banqueting hall where the event was held is steeped in history.

It is Queen Elizabeth 1st who is most associated with The Old Palace, Hatfield House. It is where she spent her childhood, and where in 1558 under an oak tree in the grounds of Hatfield House she found out she was to be the Queen of England.

With this in mind the evening’s entertainment kicked off with a poignant historical recreation of Elizabeth’s time at Hatfield House.

The Old Palace grand banqueting hall was decorated with a Halloween inspired cobwebs and grand candelabras. Guests enjoyed a 4-course meal whilst being entertained by Halloween inspired performances from Phantom of the Opera and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The evening entertainment continued after the meal with classic big band music.

A fantastic evening of entertainment in the truly beautiful and historical setting of Hatfield House.
